1. Can you operate a control valve without a I to P converter ?

Answer- Yes , we can operate cv without I/P converter, just we have to adjust the regulator output air pressure according to I/P rated output by adjusting the knob of regulator correspondingly kg f/cm2 to 1.02 kg f/cm2 manually. the output of regulator should go to the input of mechanical positioner, supply pressure should remain as per cv characteristic and the output from the mechanical positioner should go to diaphragm of control...

1. What do you mean by instrument potential barriers,How many types are there?

Answer- Instrument Potential barrier is the energy inserted in order to go against the passage of electron.

Electric transport in sputtered LiNbO3 (LN) films sandwiched between TiN and Si electrodes revealed Schottky emission at low electric field and Poole-Frenkel conduction at higher electric field without any hysteresis. The Poole-Frenkel conduction region was brought into the reproducible potential barrier-contro...

1. WHAT IS THE WORKING PRINCIPLE OF HYDRA STEP (DRUM LEVEL INDICATOR).

Answer - Its works on the principle of resistivity. The discrimination between water & steam is based on the significant difference in resistivity between the two states over the saturation range.when a voltage applied to the tip, conduction takes place between tip and inside wall of column.when the resistance of probe is less than 100K its represents the water % in drum and if it is greater than 100K its represents the % st...
