Job Description:
- Responsible for designing, developing, installing,
commissioning of instruments and automation system for Automated
Dairy and Ice-cream projects.
- Exposure and awareness of specification of Continuous
process instrumentation (level, temperature flow, pressure, etc),
process interface, pipe work, fitting and electrical / controls.
- Knowledge on Testing, evaluating, modifying and calibrating of instruments
- Sound basic knowledge on electrical items like motor, drives, MCC, Protection devices, etc
- Performs software changes, maintains documentation of changes to the software and hardware.
- Knowledge on current communication protocols like HART, Profibus, Modbus etc.
- Skills in specific control disciplines such as distributed
control systems (DCS), programmable logic controllers (PLC) and
supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA).
- Troubleshoots in Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider- PLC, Win CC
SCADA software and hardware and creating test procedures can be
advantage but not must.
- Ensuring the systems and processes operate effectively, efficiently and safely.
- To carryout multidisciplinary role and working closely with
colleagues across a functions like Process Engineering and purchase.
- Guiding the contractors in piping, cabling, installation and Commissioning of the project.
- Travelling to the customer site.
- Developing vendors/subcontractors locally.
Qualification & Required Skills/Experience:
- B. E – Instrumentation Engineering/ Electrical and
Electronics/ Electronics and Communication Engineering with 3 -7
years’ experience in automated dairy/Ice-cream/ Brewery or Process
plants equipment supplying company.
- Experience in the Engineering of process industry with thorough understanding of P&I diagram can be advantageous.
- Familiar with current automation trends and knowledge on latest equipment
- Leadership qualities, team spirit and an ability to deliver results under demanding circumstances.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to liaise at all levels Proactive, Goal-oriented, and accountable
- Team player and self-motivated
- Good computer skills (Ms-office)
- Knowing Hindi is also an added advantage.
- Intelligent person with will power to close the issues satisfactorily
