Job Location:  Jharsuguda

Job Description:  a) Assist HOD - Inst for preparation of Annual Maintenance plan.
b) Budgetting : To assist HOD - Elect in preparation of annual cost planning w.r.t. to Instrumentation Maintenance.
c) Resources: To plan required External Services / Internal Services / Manpower Management / Sp. Tools & tackles
d) Spares & Consumables : To assist HOD - Inst for preparation of Annual / half-yearly requirement of Spares and consumables.
e) Understanding customer need and align plant maintenance.

a) To do regular walk-by inspections and identification of defects, creating notifications for the same.
b) Having Daily / Monthly Department & Customer meetings.
c) Prepare monthly PM plan w.r.t. Annual planning.
d) Planning & Execution of daily PM / RM / SM and pending defects rectification.
e) To prepare activity list for all PM jobs.
f) To prepare shift schedule
g) Daily manpower allocation for different jobs.
h) Taking & closing permits as per procedures.

a) Implementation of prudent safe practices at work at height, high pressure lines, confined area etc. through Permits.
b) Compliance of OHSAS 18001
c) Use of all required PPEs while carrying out the job.
d) Identification of Critical activities and preparation of JSAs
e) Implementation of Good house keeping practices and ensure that all maintenance floors are maintained neat and clean.

Functional Area:  Engineering

Functional Role:  Instrumentation Engineer

a) Basic knowledge about:
(i) Field instruments such as control valves, flow meters, Pressure, Level, Temperature, conductivity, consistency, Bently neveda vibration monitoring, Oxygen analyzer, CO analyzer, DCS, PLC, I/P Converters.

b) Functional knowledge about:
(i) The regular, preventive and break down maintenance, trouble shooting, calibration, repair activity, design of field and control panel instrument and installation & commissioning of pneumatic, hydraulic, microprocessor based & computerized control system.
(ii) Process improvement through application of latest trend in technology.
(iii) Planning of spare parts for smooth running of thermal power plant, preparation of specifications for mechanical equipments, selection, inspection of material & their approval.

c) Basic Knowledge of ISO 9001 - 2000 quality systems and OHSAS 18001

d) Working Knowledge of Computers :
i) MS Office (Excel / Word / Power Point etc)..

Experience:  8 - 15 years

Qualification:  B.E./B.Tech(Instrumentation), Diploma(Instrumentation)

Salary:  6.00 Lakh to 8.00 Lakh (Indian Rupees) per annum
