Job Description
  • Execute Basic Engineering for project and preparing Basic Engineering drawings / documents.
  • Support Sales team during marketing stage, Contract analysis during execution and feedback to sales team during execution.
  • Support Project Management to ensure proper flow of information for Electrical & Automation Engineering.
  • Support Project Management for getting inputs for engineering and approvals from customer / Consultant for documentation.
  • Coordination with Mechanical Engineering, SMS Germany office, Metallurgists and Safety aspect to fulfill contractual requirements.
  • Coordination within Electrical & Automation department for instrumentation, Hardware Engineering and Plant Engineering teams.
  • Guide for preparing steel plant equipment locations /Electrical Room layouts.
  • Prepare Motors & components list / P&I Diagrams and Instrument List.
  • Coordination with Software Engineering team for Functional Description / drive description and control Desk FACIA layout.
  • Develop, Documentation and maintain the data base / knowledge gained for use in future projects.
Desired Profile
  • University Degree in Electrical/or Electronics Engineering.
  • 3-5 Years work experience.
  • Good Knowledge of computers i.e. word, excel & PowerPoint.
  • Domain knowledge on steel plant equipment viz BOF, EAF, Slab Caster etc.
  • Knowledge of Steel melt shops & Slab casting plant function.
  • Knowledge of Basic Electrical & Automation system Engineering
  • Knowledge of P&IDs and Instrumentation
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 will be an added advantage.
  • Flair for learning new skills / products is essential
  • Knowledge in Auto Cad is an added advantage.
